BRIDGE UP #1 with Bed Republic
On 28 January 2026, La French Tech Krakow hosted its first edition of BRIDGE UP, a new event format designed to help companies connect with experts who can support them in solving real business challenges.
The session took place at the PURO Hotel Kraków and welcomed members of the local innovation community. For this inaugural edition, the company Bed Republic, represented by its CEO Luis Rodrigues Pires, presented a practical challenge: designing a connected mattress.
BRIDGE UP provided a collaborative space where participants were able to:
-
Meet experts in technology, business, legal, and funding fields
-
Exchange directly with professionals capable of guiding and challenging ideas
-
Receive concrete recommendations and actionable insights
La French Tech Krakow thanks all participants for their contributions, as well as Bed Republic for trusting the community with this first challenge. Special recognition is also extended to the La French Tech Krakow team : Romain Rebour, Lisa Trapletti, Edouard Boucher, Max-Olivier Muller, and Emma Mailhol, for organising the event.
The first edition of BRIDGE UP successfully demonstrated the value of collaborative problem-solving and strengthened connections across the Krakow tech ecosystem.

BRIDGE UP #2 with EDHEC Business School
This new session brought together a dynamic and engaged community around a central theme: exploring how artificial intelligence could transform the future of education. Hosted in a collaborative, mini-hackathon format, the event encouraged participants to work in teams, share perspectives, and develop concrete ideas.
Divided into four groups, participants addressed key challenges shaping the evolution of the education sector:
– How students can benefit from AI tools deployed at universities
– How universities can leverage AI to enhance their programs and attractiveness
– How AI-powered solutions can support institutional operations
– How AI may redefine universities’ business models, both public and private
Throughout the evening, discussions were rich and forward-thinking, leading to actionable insights and innovative proposals. The session once again highlighted the value of collective intelligence and hands-on collaboration.
La French Tech Krakow warmly thanks all participants for their engagement, creativity, and openness, which made this second edition a true success.
Special thanks are extended to our partners for their support and contributions: EDHEC Business School, represented by Etienne Denis and Beata Mosór; Next Door Student Housing for its commitment to student life; Bed Republic, represented by its CEO Luis Rodrigues Pires; and AGH University of Krakow, represented by Malgorzata Zabinska and Katarzyna Niziołek-Jarominek, for hosting the event within its vibrant ecosystem.
The evening concluded with a networking session, reinforcing the core mission of La French Tech Krakow: connecting talents and building impactful ideas together.
