Last week, 25 students from the European School of Cybersecurity Master’s programs in Cybersecurity and AI & Data arrived in Kraków for the 2026 edition of the International Bivouac program — an intensive field experience designed to confront students with real-world challenges in an international environment.
For two weeks, they worked directly with local companies from La French Tech Krakow ecosystem on pro-bono projects across cybersecurity, offensive security, IoT, data and Green IT topics.
💻 Projects included:
• Defensive cybersecurity: Kubernetes infrastructure security review (sovereign cloud) for Sunflower
• Offensive security: web application pentesting for Sunflower, La French Tech Krakow and Jobcamp
• Social engineering: controlled vishing campaign for jll.spear Polska
• IoT & Data: connected application prototype for Bed Republic
Students followed the full consulting mission format: client briefings, intermediate deliverables, technical recommendations, and final jury presentations.
A special thank you to our Krakow startup community for opening their doors and systems to the students: Sunflower, Bed Republic, jll.spear Polska, Jobcamp
And thank you to Kraków Miastem Startupów (Michał Adamczyk) for recommending hubraum Krakow as the HQ for two of the projects, as well as for hosting the closing conference where students pitched their final deliverables in English. hubraum (Wojciech Smoleń & Jerzy Grzesiak) your reactivity and full support made the difference !
