Investor Salon #2 by OMGKRK: Diving into VCs and startup fundraising matchmaking
On Monday, Romain Rebour and Luis Rodrigues Pires from La French Tech Krakow had the pleasure of attending the second edition of Investor Salon, organized by the incredible OMGKRK team — lead by Paul Kulon and Karolina Paluch.
This invitation-only gathering brought together some of the most influential investors in the Kraków innovation ecosystem. It was great to reconnect with friends and peers including Vladyslav Muzhylivskyi, PhD, Vincent Vergonjeanne, (Sunny) Subhash C. Vashishtha, Michał Piątkowski, Sandro Aeschlimann, Olha Afanasyeva and many others shaping the local startup landscape.
A major highlight of the evening was the fireside chat between Adam Jarmicki (Unfold.vc) and Tomasz Stawarski (Tequipy). From a founder leaving Revolut to build a fast-scaling company, to recently closing a €3.06M seed round — the discussion offered an honest look into the realities of fundraising and the evolving dynamics between founders and venture investors. It was one of those conversations that stays with you long after the event.
