馃嚝馃嚪馃嚨馃嚤 When culture, remembrance and innovation strengthen the ties between France and Poland
馃悡 La French Tech Krakow was honoured to take part in the French National Day celebrations held at the Muzeum Sztuki i Techniki Japo艅skiej Manggha, alongside representatives of French and Polish institutions, business and cultural communities, and many friends of France in Krak贸w.
馃帠锔廡his year鈥檚 celebration was particularly meaningful. It was marked by the presentation of the insignia of Officer of the Legion of Honour to Krystyna Zachwatowicz-Wajda by the French Ambassador to Poland, Etienne de Poncins, in recognition of her outstanding artistic career and her enduring contribution to Franco-Polish relations.
馃帴 The following day, we were honoured to attend a special screening of Danton, organised by the French Institute in Krak贸w to mark the centenary of Andrzej Wajda鈥檚 birth. The screening was followed by a discussion on the film鈥檚 creation, political significance and enduring legacy, featuring Krystyna Zachwatowicz-Wajda, Bogus艂aw Linda and Allan Starski.
These two events reminded us that the relationship between France and Poland goes far beyond business and technology. It is rooted in a shared history, rich cultural heritage and the people who continue to strengthen the ties between our two nations.
At La French Tech Krakow, we believe innovation thrives not only on technology, but also on culture, openness and collaboration. It is through this diversity of ideas and exchanges that tomorrow鈥檚 partnerships are built.
馃 We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to C茅dric Peltier, Consul General of France in Krak贸w, who is concluding his mission after several years of remarkable service to the French community and Franco-Polish relations. A steadfast supporter of La French Tech Krakow, he has consistently championed our ecosystem with kindness, availability and genuine enthusiasm. It has been a privilege to build such a strong relationship and work together to help our community grow. We wish him every success in his future endeavours and hope our paths will cross again.
馃檹 Finally, our sincere thanks go to the Consulat g茅n茅ral de France 脿 Cracovie, the French Institute in Krak贸w, and the Muzeum Sztuki i Techniki Japo艅skiej Manggha for their warm hospitality and for organising these two remarkable events, which perfectly illustrate the depth and vitality of the relationship between France and Poland.
Long live France 馃嚝馃嚪, long live Poland 馃嚨馃嚤, and long live the friendship between our two nations!
